In a nutshell, it is a tablet equipped with software capable of networking, by using a platform developed by Amazon.com subsidiary Lab126, that uses radio technology to empower user to browse, download and read pretty well anything found on the Net. The excellent thing about Kindle is that it uses an E Ink type technology that can show up in 16 different shades of gray. Being much easier on the eyes, it actually simulates reading on paper.

The most recent Kindle twist is called Kindle 3 that was released on August of 2010. The new Kindle 3 blessed with the E Ink Pearl technology is a big hit amongst Kindle users. You will notice that the DX line of Kindle definitively has much bigger screen, rendering this line much more suited for displaying larger content i.e. textbook, newspaper just to name a few.

In this world, you pay for what you get… Well, at least this is what my father said to me a long time ago;  and it still holds true today. Talk about a bang for your buck. Kindle 3 has done it for me. Lightweight, large display and easy on the eyes…

According to some of the Kindle 3 Reviews, it does not have a SD memory expansion port. While the Kindle will accommodate 1500 books, which is truly nifty, there is no room for growth, meaning that if you own 1510 books you won’t be capable to have them all on your KINDLE. It is actually no big deal but I think it should be mentioned as it might be a detriment to some users.
